I'm beginning to think that this may not be the real Emmanuel Eboue, though quite a number of people believe it's him.

Police Arrest 5 Men with Fake Currencies worth N108m



Five suspects, Femi Jacob, Ramon Adeoye, Isaka Usman, Akeem Ayobado, and Onyeka Ibe were yesterday paraded by the Lagos State Police Command for illegally printing local and foreign currencies.

Jacob and Adeoye were reportedly nabbed at Ogunlana Street, Alagbado, Lagos, with eight printing machines while Usman and Ayobado were picked up at Ikorodu with currency fourteen printing machines.

Ibe, the fifth suspects is said to be an Anambra-based buyer who occasionally comes to Lagos to buy the illegally printed currencies.

Black teenager punches woman after she calls him 'Smelly Nigerian'


Violence erupts on the London Underground after an argument between a white woman and a black teenager gets out of hand. Video footage captured on a mobile phone shows the pair arguing after the woman accused the man of stepping on her foot. The two exchange insults, with the woman calling him a 'smelly Nigerian' before he calls her a 'white princess'. As the argument escalates, the man stands over her and is seen throwing punches at her before other passengers drag him off her as he accuses her of hitting him with a bottle.(See video above)

From CES 2013: Here is the iPotty for iPad which lets your toddler play while they poo



I thought it was only adults that read newspapers or magazines while relieving themselves in the toilet. CTA Digital seems to think that toddlers should not be exempted. They have even given it a new twist. They have come up with a gadget which they claim, is good for potty training.

This gadget is the iPotty. The iPotty for iPad is a potty which has a built-in stand for the Apple iPad 2 and iPad 3rd and 4th-generation models.

From the CES 2013: Sony introduces bath-friendly Xperia Z smartphone


I wonder why anyone would take his or her phone for a shower but I guess this is for some of the forgetful folks out there. Or to spare the prudent parent who just realised that his or her kid just decided to wash his or her phone by dunking it into a bowl of water.

Well, Fear Not. For here is Sony to the rescue.

Sony has just unveiled a bath-friendly smartphone that can be used in the shower or bath without the risk of damage.  This was revealed at the ongoing CES 2013.

This water-resistant feature is relatively common in Japan, but has not been included in many top-end smartphones released elsewhere.

Dana Air Denies Paying Celebraties to Board Flight


Dana Air has come out to respond to the critics about the allegation of paying celebrities to board the inaugural flight from Lagos to Abuja on Friday January 4th 2013.

Lionel Messi is poised to become the first player to win four successive Ballon d’Or awards on Monday. 


The 25-year-old is the overwhelming favourite to see off the challenge of Barcelona teammate Andres Iniesta and great Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo for the prize. It will crown another landmark year for the Argentine who is the top scorer in La Liga this season with 27 goals having also broken Gerd Mueller’s 40-year record for the most goals in a calendar year.

Chelsea FC Signs Demba Ba


Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Demba Ba for an undisclosed fee.

Is this a good buy for Chelsea? No doubt Ba is a wonderful striker and has currently scored 13 premier league goals this season, the question is, is he the solution to Chelsea striking force problem or do Chelsea still need to search for a world class striker?
